Hello, I am a non-Trinitarian that searched for years for fellow believers. I found this website through Anthony Buzzard, and the Byte Show. I greatly appreciate the work you and others in the One God Conference have done. However, I do have one comment for improvement.
There was a couple there that took several passages from the Bible to dispute the Unitarian statements of One God the Father and one Son the Lord and Messiah. At one point the lady of the couple read a passage from Revelation. I am curious why the speakers did not seem willing to speak more from the Bible in the response to the lady than seemingly theorizing and explaining her scriptures away. Using scripture for scripture, granted I am sure that the speakers were not wanting to spark a debate, but even mentioning some passages might be helpful. I would share these audio files with my Trinitarian friends if there were better scripture based responses. In the Revelation reference of which I speak the lady read from chapter 1 stating that the voice was clearly Jesus. I may be missing something but in chapter 4 John writes of a “first voice”. Based on my limited study of Revelation, it would seem to imply two voices. Those being of one God the Father and one Son the Lord and Messiah. I am in no way complaining, but find it difficult to offer this to others without a scripture for scripture statement.
Please do not take this wrong, I deeply understand the need to avoid heated debates, and maybe there was more stated outside of the recordings. However, responding to scripture with scripture seems to be the strongest of all convincing statements. Thanks to all the speakers and questioners (or answerers). I greatly appreciate these files and hope you will continue to be blessed but the One true God for your work. Thanks again, John Hawkins

John, thanks for stopping by. Just out of curiosity, which file are you referring to? Rev 1 is definitely God speaking and not Jesus.

    Howdy Sean,

“Being Proud of our God” near the end of the file is what I am referring to specifically. However, the couple seem to make several points in all the proceeding audio files.

I appreciate your time to respond. I am hoping to strenghen my beliefs in the Unintarian views through your work. I feel like I am standing on the shoulders of giants when I am able to use your and other speakers logic and scripture to support my own conclusions.

    Thanks again, John Hawkins
P.S. I am on the west coast, so my response times may be a bit delayed.. :)

    John,

I think I remember what you are referring to now. Victor had just finished his rousing message about being proud about the Jesus’ creed of the one God (Mark 12.29-30) and the lady asked an off the wall question unrelated to what Victor had talked about. She had been doing this throughout the entire conference. Victor did not have a desire to answer her question because it was unrelated to what he had just said. I see your point though. From an isolated perspective (that is, if someone just listened to this talk) they may get the idea that Victor did not have an answer for her question and so side stepped her. Thanks for that criticism, often times we are not mindful of the secondary audiences that may access materials.

John, I also wanted to mention that we have many resources related to the subject of the one God on our God is 1 not 3 website. Please feel free to check it out as we have tons of free audio, articles, and videos. Also, we carry a few books on this subject in our online bookstore.

    Sean,

In reference to your response to Brother Hawkins I wholeheartedly agree with you that the message given to us in Revelation comes directly from God the Father for it clearly says; “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, Which GOD gave Him (Yeshua) to show to His servants…..”

Did not Yeshua say over and over again that He only spoke what His Father told Him to say? John 12;50 et al?

Thank you for your web site which discovered today!

    Hi,

I have been studying now for months and am convinced the trinity doctrine is false.

The only people who seem to agree with me, in person, are the Jehovah Witness folks, who, of course, want to bring me into their organzation. But I do not agree with much of their other doctrine…(144,000) and also their prophetic incompetency.

    Any suggestions?

I do believe now that our relationship is a family, yes. Oneness, a Father, a Son and a Mother (holy spirit) Ruach Ho kedesh…and marriage as one. The male/female thing is a mystery.

    ok, thnks.

Mark, welcome to the site. There are many more of us who do not believe the trinity is true. What state do you live in? Maybe someone here knows someone near you that you could fellowship with. Also, if you would like more resources regarding the oneness of God, see our God is 1 not 3 page.

    Hi everyone,

Have taken a “crash course” in Anthony Buzzards work and have to tell you I agree with it whole heartedly.

Has anyone seen the Muslim fellow on You-tube in Toronto with Sir Anthony? Wow, it is over 2 hours long. The guy knows the bible like the back of his hand. He emphatically affirms that there is ONE God.

My study began with the Nicene Creed and having friends in the Watchtower Organization. I DID NOT buy into the JW’s. But always had trouble with the trinity. Being without like minded believers left me feeling isolated. So very glad to find people that have the guts and perserverence to stay true to their heart.

The bible for me, has taken on new significance now that I do not have to pretend in my heart that I believe something that is not logical, and nonsensical.

    Thanks to all,

    Mark

    Hi, Mark!

Welcome to the forum. I too have gained a lot of understanding from Anthony Buzzard’s work.

Since you are now the third “Mark” on this forum, we may need to differentiate. I was posting as simply “Mark” before, and then there was another who began posting as “Mark D”. From now on I’ll post as “Mark C” and maybe you could add an initial so as identify which “Mark” you are.

    Anyway it’s a good name!

II Tim. 4:11 “Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.”

Psalm 37:37 “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.”
