From what I understand, in the Hebrew culture, a name was suppose to represent the character of the person. Hence, Y’shua changed Simon’s name to Peter to represent his character as “the rock” of faith. Peter was the only one of the disciples that had the faith to walk on the water (even if it was for just a short period of time). I believe that Peter had the strongest faith, and that’s why Y’shua picked him to be the leader of his new church (or congregation).

I like this guys message about men being strong and acting like men. You don’t necessarily have to have a strong physical body to be strong. It takes character and confidence to be strong. I pray that God will increase “all” of our characters and increase our confidence and our faith (both males and females). I’ve met some pretty strong women in my life, and it had very little to do with their physical bodies and everything to do with their character.

    Peace and Grace… 🙂

hmn … in my perception, this man sort of talks and acts – his manner of talking and how he moves while talking – like many women …

Now, please, my comment is in no way intended to put women down or somehow degrade anyone for that matter. It just seems to me that his message isn’t quite communicated well via his tone and manner of presentation

Also, I like what DT has written above in Comment 1 regarding the message which is being presented.
