(Heb 1:6) And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

As far as I can remember, I have always viewed this verse as speaking of a future event.

But I have noticed that for some “reason”, some among our ranks have now changed their minds and see this verse as talking about the birth of Christ; and I simply can’t see why!! 🙁

The following is my reasons:

Now the context that I speak of is ‘The worship of Christ’ as shown in verses such as
Matt 2:2,8,11; 8:2, 9:18, 14:33, 15:25, 20:20, 28:9,17;
Mark 5:6, John 9:38, etc.

Hi folks!
Before you shout Heresy!! The words of the above title are not my words.
They are a part of a set of quotes from a TV advert/video about a book written by a pretty well known “Christian preacher”.

All quotations shown, I have personally verified and you can hear the man himself verbally verify the following assertions.

Here are his assertions…

  • The Jews as a people did not reject Jesus as Messiah!
  • Jesus did not come to Earth to be the Messiah!
  • Since Jesus refused (by word & deed) to claim to be the Messiah, how can the Jews be blamed for rejecting what was never offered!

Listen for yourself! At

Jesus declared that Moses wrote of him; and we ought to believe what Moses said about him:
(John 5:46-47) For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Now if we investigate what Moses said concerning Jesus, we ought to see one of the clearest proof that Jesus the Messiah cannot possibly be Almighty God Himself!

Let me begin with the ten commandments.
The ten audible commandments given on Mount Sinai/Horeb.

Our Father, we pray for
a part in Thy Kingdom,
when Jesus rules the world
with wisdom and power,
when pain and sorrow
shall be no more.

We remember in love all
those who are near and
dear to us. May we be helped
and encouraged to press
on to Thy Kingdom until our
travelling days are done.

Last week, I posted a prayer by Isaac Watts, as he enquired after
the only true God [John 17:3]; who is :-
the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob;
and the God and Father of our Lord Jesus the Messiah.
[2 Cor 1:3, 11:31; Eph 1:3; Col 1:3; 1 Pet 1:3]

There was also another famous ‘Isaac’ who abandoned Trinitarianism and embraced the awesome truth that there is solely One God, the Father.
[1 Cor 8:4,6]

Namely, Sir Isaac Newton.

Although renown for his scientific achievements; he in fact wrote more on theology than any other subject.

Did you know … that Isaac Watts, the father of English hymnody/hymnology (the singing & composition of hymns), the author of “When I Survey The Wondrous Cross”; the writer of many trinitarian hymns;
near the end of his life; rejected the ‘Trinity doctrine’ and adhered to the unitarian perspective that “solely the Father is the only true One God” !!!

What follows is one of the most sincerest prayers I have ever come across. Read it slowly and witness the sincerity and the desire for the truth in these words by Watts; as he asked God to clear up the matter of whether …
God is three-in-one or solely ONE GOD??

I came across the following article [click here] and thought it might be useful … Any thoughts?

Here are “One Hundred Scriptural Arguments for the Unitarian Faith” from the American Unitarian Association. This is a must read for those studying the doctrine of the Trinity. [ The exact date of this document is not known, but it was written around 1825. ]

Scriptural Arguments

Jesus of Nazareth is the Promised Messiah, That Prophet, spoken of by Moses. [Deut 18:15,18-19; John 6:14; Acts 3:23]

As such, he was commissioned by Almighty God to speak all the words that God commanded him to speak.

As such, Jesus was not multifaith!

That is, he never had an anything-goes attitude;
He did not subscribe to “you can worship whom you like, all roads lead to the same God“;
He did not have “it is all the Same God anyway” approach!!

Why? Because he knows the opposite to Life; and if one does not obey his God and worship his God in spirit and in truth [John 4:24]; one will surely perish i.e. will not receive Life in the Age to come.

Psalms 110:1 is the most quoted Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) verse in the New Testament! Quoted and alluded to, 23 times in the NT. [1]

I knew many years ago that the second word ‘Lord’ in this verse i.e.
The LORD said unto my Lord

was not the Hebrew word Adonai i.e. God’s title as Supreme Lord;
however I did not know at the time the significance of this!

So back in the day … when I read the amazing assertion that the Hebrew word translated in this verse as ‘Lord’ was actually the Hebrew word adoni; and that this Hebrew word is never ever used in reference to Almighty God!

Hello everyone!

I would like to relate an incident that my wife & I experienced.
Sometime ago, my wife and I was doing the “Apollos” thing.

That is, we were listening to a preacher in a public area who was fervent in the spirit who preached diligently knowing only the things concerning the trinity, Jesus is God Almighty & going to heaven??
… with a view that when he had finished preaching; we would try and show him the way of God more perfectly! [cp. Acts 18:24-26]
