Revive: Wisdom

Woodstock YMCA, January 4 - 6, 2019

Revive is a high energy weekend spent learning about God and praising him. It's a time to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. It's a time to deepen your understanding as well as break through issues that are holding you back. It's a time to get prayer one-on-one and minister to others in need. (Note: you must be 20 or older to attend.)

Our theme for Revive 2019 (January 4-6) is "Wisdom." We'll be diving into the scriptures to discover practical ways of thinking and living that can help us all lead better lives. Our theme verses for the weekend are Proverbs 3.13-18:

Blessed is the one who finds wisdom,
And the one who gets understanding,
For the gain from her is better than gain from silver
And her profit better than gold.
She is more precious than jewels,
And nothing you desire can compare with her.
Long life is in her right hand;
In her left hand are riches and honor.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
And all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her;
Those who hold her fast are called blessed.

We'll have some exciting speakers and worship leaders coming in to share their talents. This is one event you won't want to miss. (Also, we've addressed the heat issue from last year.)

We are holding this life-changing weekend at the Camp Woodstock YMCA in Connecticut (42 Camp Road, Woodstock Valley, CT). Come, bring a friend, and let's start the new year off together on the right foot!

The cost is $146, which includes lodging (2 nights), food (all meals and refreshments), and lots of fun. To register you only need to put down $46 as a nonrefundable deposit. The rest is due upon arrival. Please register as early as you can so you can help us plan accordingly.

Please arrive Friday between 4:00 and 5:30pm so you can get settled before dinner at 6:00pm. We'll have a welcome table set up in the Boat House to settle up any balance, give you a schedule, and direct you to your housing. Here's a map to show you where the Boat House is. The weekend concludes on Sunday afternoon (Jan 6) with lunch at 12pm.

Here's a list of items to bring with you:
- bible, notebook, pen
- sleeping bag or bedding, pillow
- towel, toiletries, soap, shampoo
- warm clothes, hats, gloves, scarves, coat
- a musical instrument (if you play one)

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Pastor Sean Finnegan (
