The New Testament is one of the most read and most misunderstood books of all time. This class seeks to interpret the beginnings of Christianity from the lens of the Hebrew Scriptures as well as the cultural, political, and social issues of the first century world. Discover how the first hearers of Jesus would have understood and responded to what he proclaimed about the kingdom. The class builds the Christian worldview from the Gospels and continues right through to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the inclusion of the Gentiles, and the rich understanding of Jesus' death for our sins from a new covenant perspective.
