The Final Words Part II

On September 11, 2012, Rev. Vince Finnegan commenced The Final Words Class, Part II. The class focuses on Revelation chapters 14 through 21 and is the conclusion to the first part of the class, which focused on the letters to the seven churches and foreshadowed the end times.
One of the goals of the class is to help students to understand the book of Revelation, a book that many people look at with confusion, fear, or misconceptions of the end times. Revelation contains many visions, analogies, and prophecies that make it seem difficult. The class provides an easy to understand look at the book. As Revelation 1:3 says, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.” The ideas that the book is confusing, does not pertain to us, or that it is just scary to readers are calmly addressed in the class.
The book does indeed address some things that are to be feared, but it also provides hope for those who remain faithful. It gives people a reason to stay faithful and reveals to those who believe what the end times will be like, but the end reveals the glorious Kingdom, coming down from Heaven. Throughout the book, God tells us about the provision He has made for those who believe in Him.
The class started on the eleventh and is scheduled to end on October second (subject to change). Everyone is welcome. There is no class fee, and refreshments are provided.
