Notes:

Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6.8 Having mercy is not something that God suggests to us; rather, he requires it.

Isaiah 1.10-20 God was not concerned with their sacrifice. He wanted them to have genuine love for him, which was to be evidenced in caring for those in need.

Matthew 9.9-13 Jesus understood exactly what the Father wanted; the religious hypocrites did not know.

James 1.27 "...visit the orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world."

Matthew 25.1-46 If Jesus were hungry, would you have food to feed him? If Jesus were thirsty, would you have time to give him drink? If Jesus were sick, would you visit him? We are to treat each other as if the other were Jesus.
