Notes:

Matthew 21:18-22 The fig tree was a compelling and persuasive example. Jesus illustrates the endless possibilities.

Matthew 7:7-12 God responds to those who ask, seek, and knock. Faith and action coincide. Faith and passiveness contradict. When our faith is in God, we can love others rightly.

Matthew 8:1-3 The leper sought out Jesus and asked for help. Humility and faith correspond.

Matthew 8:5-10 Great faith understands supernatural authority. We need to reason things out with our biblical knowledge.

Mark 2:1-12 Jesus could see their faith because they were aggressive. Obstacles or circumstance did not deter them.

Some say it is impossible to find a job today because there is 9.7% unemployment, which is about 15 million people. However, 90.3% are employed, which is about 150 million. You want a job, get out and get one. Your full time job is getting a job. Walk into every store in the mall.

Matthew 9:18-22 She took action, was shamelessly humble and aggressive. She did not sit on the sideline wishing. I'll never get near him! She got to the front of the stage, reached in, and took her healing.

Matthew 15:21-28 - Canaanite woman refused to give up. She had humble aggressive action. Faith can be reasoned out by logically thinking about the Scriptures. These people did not have blind faith.

Matthew 20:29-34 Gabberialle

Luke 19:1-10

Luke 17:1-10 Asking God for help with your faith is not a bad idea, but it is usually not enough. Faith grows with practice. When things do not happen the way we want, we seem to lose faith. Build faith with baby steps such as resisting temptation.
