Acts 2:42-47 Their lifestyle was evidence of their faith (James 2:14-26).

Common - It is evident that John possessed property, which he retained (John 19:27). Jesus did not command them to give up their property into a common stock, nor did the apostles (Acts 5:4).

They gave their time with at less one day a week devoted to Yahweh.

Three times a year, they gave a full week.

They gave what they did not need. Levites according to the Law were not to own land, so Barnabas was doing what he should have been doing all along.

Acts 5:1-11
Ananias and Sapphira brought evil into the church which had not been there.

Acts 5:12-16
We can look for the same today because God and our Lord have not changed.
