Notes:

1 Peter 3:10-12 God's ability to help is equal to His willingness to help. God answers prayer for those who desire Him and His ways. God has integrity, so hold Him to His word. An attitude of expectancy is appropriate; whereas, arrogance and demanding are inappropriate.

Psalms 107:1 "Lovingkindness" is also translated mercy, kindness, and goodness. Yahweh's loving-kindness has no end and is forever extended to those who seek Him.

Psalms 107:5 The Psalmist writes with descriptive words − wandered in the wilderness, did not find a way, was hungry and thirsty, soul fainted within him.

Psalms 107:6 The all important and often forgotten step -- cry to Yahweh!

Psalms 107:9 The Bible contains written historical records of the many times Yahweh demonstrated His willingness is equal to His ability to help. We must ask and expect help. Yahweh has integrity!

Psalms 107:10 Again, such descriptive language is used that captures the human plight.

Psalms 34:8 -15 Peter read the Old Testament.

Psalms 107:14 The first place to seek help is Yahweh; yet, most often God is the last sought, after everything else has failed. God should be first aid, and the doctors should be third aid. We do not have to do this on our own! Seek help!

Psalms 18:1-7 God responds when we call. We need to be persistent like the widow woman or the importune friend. We may need to declare a fast as they did in Nineveh when they were withdrawing from worldly distractions to focus on Yahweh.

Psalms 107:20 The Word of God is powerful. The centurion in Jesus' day knew the power of the word for he said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed."

Psalm 30:2 and 3; 103:3 and 4; 56:13; 147:3

Psalms 107:30 We do not have to wait until it gets so bad! When you lack peace, joy, love, or hope, stop your normal activity, take time to read the Word and pray to your Father and allow Him to minister to you.

Psalms 107:35 He can take away from the wicked and give to the righteous.

Psalms 43 Consider the loving-kindness of Yahweh our God and Father.
