Notes:

Exodus 15:2 --"Yah" is an abbreviated and oft poetic form of the name "Yahweh." It is primarily used in songs and compound words. The term is generally found where the subject theme dwells upon a rejoicing over victory and deliverance or where there is an acknowledgment of God's mighty hand and salvation.

Psalms 68:4; 118:14; Isaiah 12:2; 26:1-4 Yah is used 46 times in the Old Testament, 40 of which are in the book of Psalms, the book of songs and prayers.

Exodus 15:1- 22 The song is after the great exodus from Egypt which is a type for what will happen at the end of the age.

Isaiah 11:1- 16 In the context, "in that day" refers to the end of the age.

Isaiah 12:1- 6 This follows the context which is talking about the future while remembering the past.

Isaiah 12:2 The wording is identical to Exodus 15:2

Revelation 15:1-5 This refers back to the song of Moses in Exodus 15 which was also referenced in Isaiah 12.

Revelation 19:1-6

"Hallelujah" is made up of "hallelu," praise, and "Jah" or Yah; so, "hallelujah" means praise Yah.

Hallelu-Yah is used 26 times in the book of Psalms and is usually in the plural imperative which is a command to praise Yah. So, it could read, "You praise Yah" or "Praise Yah, you people."

01984 is the Hebrew word "halal," and 03050 is "Yah."
