Israel, Jerusalem, and the temple are a central part of eschatological revelation.
The first mention of the city is recorded in Genesis 14:18 “And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of God Most High.” As evidenced by Psalm 76:2, Jerusalem is probably the city of Salem. “Melchizedek” means “king of righteousness” or “righteous king.” Psalm 110:1ff; Hebrew 5:6,10; 6:20 7:1 reveal that Melchizedek was a type for Jesus the Messiah. This first mention of the city is a type for Jesus in the age to come. He will be the righteous King of Jerusalem and the Priest of God Most High.
The Hebrew word for Jerusalem can literally mean “pointing the way to completeness”; however, most often it is thought to mean the “city of peace”. The Hebrew root for “Salem” is shalom that means completeness, soundness, welfare most often translated “peace”. The word shalom is similar to the word sozo in the NT. God’s intention with Jerusalem was that it would point the way to completeness.

From Albany to Miami is 1,400 miles, and Albany to Oklahoma City is 1,500.
It is 1,453 ft at the very top of the Empire State Building with 102 floors.
There are 5,280 feet in a mile.
If a person were suddenly exposed to the atmosphere at 30,000 ft without a pressurized cabin or at least a pressure-demand oxygen mask that supplies oxygen to the lungs via high pressure, hypoxia would come in 45 to 75 seconds, followed by unconsciousness and eventually death. This is less than 6 miles, and we are looking at 1,500 miles.
62 miles also is often regarded as the boundary between atmosphere and outer space.
