Mark 16:14-20 Jesus describes the spirit of truth as a supernatural influence for his faithful followers, which enables them to be like him. In the midst of his great teaching on the spirit of truth, he states the following.

John 14:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. The predominate framework for the spirit to effect a believer's life is in the carrying out of the Lord's work. As we go forth following our Lord's instruction regarding the ministry of reconciliation, the spirit will equip us for the work. We must go!

Acts 8:1-4 The aim of the persecution was to stop the movement of the Christian Church; instead, it caused greater outreach. One great tactic of the devil is to intimidate with fear.

Acts 8:5-24 None of this would have happened if Philip did not get up and go.

Acts 8:25 and 26 A simple but vital command -- Get up and go.

Acts 8:27- ff We will see nothing until we get up and go.

Acts 9:10-19 Ananias experienced the power of God in operation because he got up and went. He ministered to the great Apostle Paul!

II Kings 6:8-23 The devil uses smoke and mirrors to cause us to be intimidated by fear. There is no substance to his power when compared to the power of God.

II Timothy 1:7 The spirit we have been given is with power, love, and a sound mind.

Romans 8:15 Fear is a lie.

Acts 1:8 You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.

Ephesians 2:5 and 6 Even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

We have the power and authority!
