The Structure and Nature of Millennial Rule

Central to the Millennial Kingdom is the man that will rule -- the Messiah. Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, the Christ of the seed of David. He will return to earth from heaven and begin to rule as King over all the earth as promised to David.

He is "the Branch" that would grow out of the root of Jesse, the King & High Priest. Isaiah 11:1,10; Jeremiah 23:5-8; 33:14-17; Zechariah 3:8+9; 6:12+13

He is the "Lord's arm" that shall rule for God. Isaiah 40:9-11; 52:7-15; 53:1+2; Psalms 98:1-9

He is the "horn of David" that will bud and be exalted, whose crown will flourish. Psalms 132:17+18; 89:17; 148:13+14; I Samuel 2:9+10

The Messiah's kingdom will be over all the kingdoms of the earth Daniel 2:35, 44; 7:13-14, 27; Psalms 2:6-9; 67:1-7; 102:22; 72:8, 11; Isaiah 2:4; 42:1; Zechariah 8:21+22; 9:9+10;10:11+12; Acts 17:31; Revelation 11:15
