Family Man

Ephesians 1:1-14 We are a part of God's purpose and blessing in Christ Jesus. We are to think of ourselves as is stated and we are to think of fellow saints in the same way.

God is our Father, Jesus is our Lord, we are in God's family.

Ephesians 1:22 and 23 Christ is the head. The church (ekklesia - called out) makes up the body.

I Corinthians 12:12-26 Vital members of the same body.

Ephesians 2:4-10 We are alive together with Christ. We are all connected with Christ.

Ephesians 2:19-22 Members of God's household, the dwelling place of God.

Ephesians 3:6 Fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, fellow partakers of the promise.

Ephesians 4:1-3 We have responsibility to God and to each other. The duty of Christians derives directly from the unspeakable debt of gratitude that they owe for all that they have received in Christ.

Verses 11-13 Paul's constant concern for the church was maturity.

Colossians 1:27-30

Ephesians 4:14-16 The church provides a loving and safe environment for the believers to mature. Maturity happens within a loving family.

Galatians 6:1-10 We help each other grow up in Him.

Solitude, dividedness, isolation are the tools of the devil to cause the church to be weak. We need to help each other grow up in Him.
