Genesis 3:8-10 The first interaction man had with God was motivated by fear of God. They hid from God.

Exodus 14:10-18
The sight of the Egyptians marching caused Israel to be paralyzed in fear. Fear impacted their behavior

I John 4:18
– “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear hath torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.”

Numbers 14:1-ff
The children of Israel believed the report of the elders and refused to enter into the Promised Land due to fear. In them we see the horror of fear and the extreme evil it can cause.

1Samuel 15:21-24
Saul, for fear of the people, chose to obey their voice over God’s commands.

Mark 5:1-20
When the demon occupied man was freed, they were afraid of Jesus and asked him to leave their community.

Fear caused Peter to deny his Lord three times, and fear caused him and the apostles to hide behind closed doors.

1Samuel 21:10-15
David was in a life threatening and frightening situation.

Psalms 34:1-10
When we have fear, we need to run to God and not to run away from Him.

Mark 5:21-36
Jesus did not allow fear to ruminate; rather, he attacked with faith.

In distress call upon Yahweh.
