Psalms 94:1-23 For the first 11 verses, the psalmist is venting about the problem. The remainder of the psalm, he changes his focus to Yahweh which builds his faith.

Psalms 94:12 Blessed is the man who is disciplined and taught by Yahweh.

Psalms 94:22 Yahweh is firm, certain, unmovable, powerful, with great stability as a rock; in Him, we find our shelter. In Him, even in Him alone, we find safety. Let the world rage as it may; we are safe in the arms of our God.

Deuteronomy 32:1-47 Yahweh is the rock of our faith and our salvation.

Deuteronomy 32:4 God had been true to His covenant with their fathers and with them. Nothing that He had promised had failed; therefore, if their national experience had been painfully checkered by severe and protracted trials, it was traceable to their own perverse conduct and not to any vacillation or unfaithfulness on the part of God.

Deuteronomy 32:18 Idolatry destroys faith for many reasons. When Yahweh is central and the focus, faith soars. When other gods, the world, or our problems are central and the focus, faith diminishes quickly.

Deuteronomy 32:25 When the believer turns on God, he becomes an enemy and suffers severe consequences.

1 Samuel 2:1-10 She had a perspective that magnifies God and encourages faith.

2 Samuel 22:1-7 David cried to Yahweh with the confidence that his rock would help.

Psalms 62:1-12 Yahweh is my rock and salvation.

Psalms 95:1-11 After Israel finally left Egypt, they found themselves in the wilderness, and they constantly doubted Yahweh. Yet, He consistently endeavored to help them believe that He was the one true God.

Hebrews 3:6-8 The years Israel was in the wilderness, God calls "provocation" because they constantly provoked God to anger with their sinful, unbelieving behavior. The first year alone, they tempted Him ten times.

Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

Surely they shall not see the land which I swore unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

(Numbers 14:22-23 AV)
