18 Every Christian has the choice daily to walk by the flesh or by the spirit.
19-21 When we do not walk by the spirit, we automatically walk by the flesh.
23 When we walk by the spirit, we enjoy the fruit of the spirit.
26 Personal diligence is our focus, not comparing ourselves to others.
Romans 13:10-14 Each of us must focus on walking by the spirit and not the things of the world nor upon other people.

Lamentations 3:10-24 After God's judgment fell upon Jerusalem, resulting in destruction and deportation, still, there was hope because of God's unfailing character.
