Preaching the Gospel of the kingdom & the cross effectively is our mission as followers of the Messiah, Jesus.

Assumptions:
You believe the Bible is true.
You have repented, been forgiven, and declared Jesus as your Lord.
You understand that by calling Jesus Lord you agree to do what he says.
You believe that it is your responsibility to preach the gospel.

Go somewhere where there are people (Mark 16:15), preferably, somewhere that people are waiting around. Start a conversation in a normal way.

Step 1 => Find out where they are at

Question to ask: “What do you think will happen when you die?” or “What do you think happens in the afterlife?

Step 2 => Ask why or Do you think you are a good person?

Questions to ask: “Why do you think you will go to _______?” or
Do you consider yourself a good person?

Law of talking: they need to talk before they will listen to you.

Step 3 => Conviction phase

If they think they are ok, then we should help them to see their need for the gospel.

Questions to ask:
Have you ever told a lie?” “What does that make you?” (A liar.)
Have you ever stolen something?” “What does that make you?” (A thief.)
Have you ever looked upon someone with lust?” “What does that make you?” (An adulterer at heart.)
Have you ever used God's name as a curse?” “What does that make you?” (A blasphemer.)
Have you ever been really angry at someone?” “What does that make you?” (A murderer at heart.)

Step 4 => Summarize

Summarize where they are at in the eyes of God.
So, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterous, murdering, blasphemer; and you still think you are a good person?

Step 5 => How will you be judged (gospel of the kingdom)

Question to ask: “If Jesus were to come back today, take over the world, and set up his Kingdom on earth, and you were to be judged by his standards, would you be innocent or guilty?

Courtroom Scene: Should a judge let someone go because they (1) stopped doing the crime, (2) haven't done it too many times, (3) are sorry, (4) are only human, (5) have done good deeds, (6) were young at the time? [Crimes must be punished]

Question to ask: “What is the #1 reason that you don't turn your whole life around, repent, and obey the words of Jesus the Messiah?

Step 6 => Give them the gospel (gospel of the cross)

Question to ask: “Do you know what God did for you so that you don't have to be punished for what you did?

If they say “no,” then tell them that Jesus took their penalty upon him so they wouldn't have to be punished when the Kingdom comes. Instead they would be forgiven today and also enjoy Paradise forever. (No pain, suffering, death; only joy, fellowship with saints, and ruling the world with the Messiah.)

Tell them they need to turn their whole life around, start reading the Bible, praying, and following the words of Jesus.

Zephaniah 1:14-2:3; Isaiah 13:6-13; Amos 5:18-20; Nahum 1:2-3, 6; Luke 3:7-9, 16-18; Mark 1:14-15; Acts 10:42-43; 17:30-31; Romans 2:5-6, 16

Conclusion: People are dying! What are you going to do about it?
