In the times of the Bible, there were many kinds of outsiders:

  • Foreigners (Leviticus 19:33–34)
  • Widows, orphans (Exodus 22:22–24)
  • Poor (Proverbs 14:31)
  • Gentiles (Ephesians 2:11–13)

Outsider 1: Leah
Genesis 29:16–17, 21–35

Outsider 2: Moses
Exodus 2:1–15

Outsider 3: Rahab
Joshua 2:1–11; 6:23–25; Matthew 1:2–6

Outsider 4: Mary
Luke 1:26–38; Matthew 1:18–19

Outsider 5: Jesus
John 1:46; 8:41, 48; Mark 3:22; Luke 7:34

God wants everyone, including outsiders.
