1 Pet 1:23-25
Men have come and gone; nations have fallen, but we still have the Word of God.
The Word of God has been tested since the very beginning. Does God really mean what He says? Satan tempted Eve asking, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden?’” (Gen 3:1). Jesus, God’s Son, was also tempted as to the integrity of God’s Word (Matthew 3:16-17; 4:1-4). This has always been the question posed to mankind: Is God’s Word really true?
2 Timothy 3:16
The Scriptures, the Bible, contain God’s Word. They are inspired by God. They are “God-breathed.”
2 Peter 1:20-21
It is God’s Word, not the words of men. It was not an act of human will. Men moved by the holy spirit spoke from God. There are many writers, but only one author.
Galatians 1: 11-12
The gospel Paul preached was not according to man. It came through a revelation of Jesus Christ. The Bible is not like any other literature written by men. We can question men’s words. We can choose to disagree with writings and opinions of men; however, the Bible is right every time.
Job 23:12; Ps 119:162; Ps 19:10
It should be highly treasured.
