Ephesians 6:11-13 – All of humanity is in the midst of a spiritual hostile conflict that has raged on for ages. The two opposing forces are Yahweh (the one true God) and the devil (the god of this age). God wants everyone to enter into His glorious Kingdom that begins when Christ returns, and the devil wants to keep everyone out of the Kingdom.
2 Corinthians 4:4 – Satan is the god of this age.
1 Peter 5:8 – Everyone is attacked by the devil.
Ephesians 2:1-3 – Ignorance, forgetfulness, or laziness does not exempt one from the struggle; rather, it dooms one to defeat.
The fronts are: 1) the world, 2) the demonic realm, and 3) the flesh.
Ephesians 6:14 – GIRD YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH.
John 8:44 – The primary way the devil operates is with lies.
Ephesians 1:4 and 5 – WHAT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED IS WHAT WE BELIEVE.
John 8:31 and 32 – The truth will set you free
Ephesians 6:14 – PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Ephesians 4:21-24 – The breastplate of righteousness has everything to do with living rightly according to our new self.
Ephesians 4:25 – The lifestyle of a believer is based upon the truth that Jesus has brought and communicated.
Ephesians 5:3-7
Ephesians 6:15 – HAVE YOUR FEET SHOD WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE.
Ephesians 1:2; 6:23; 2:14-17; and 4:1-3 – In the epistle of Ephesians, the subject of peace is highlighted. Peace is fundamental to our well-being and necessary in order to stand in this evil day.
Ephesians 6:16 – TAKE UP THE SHIELD OF FAITH.
Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Faith is the confidence and trust that we have toward that which God promises.
Ephesians 6:17 – TAKE THE HELMET OF SALVATION.
Ephesians 1:13 and 14 – We can never escape the reality that we live in an evil time; consequently, the spiritual battle rages on.
