Road of Wisdom Class
This course offers an introduction to exploring the Book of Proverbs that begins with the basics but then moves beyond the simple “fortune cookie” approach to uncover a robust framework for wise living. A central tenet of the course is the idea that wisdom is a journey, and it takes time to travel down it. The course will cover topics such as:
- What are “proverbs”?
- Who is Proverbs written for?
- The foundation of wisdom.
- The world of cause-and-effect.
- How to discover the context of Proverbs?
- How does Proverbs motivate readers?
- Does Proverbs promise too much?
- How to grow in and apply wisdom in your life?
By the end of the course, students will be better equipped to engage with the Book of Proverbs and continue their journey down the road of wisdom.
