Romans 8:28 A statement of truth that is ours to claim

Romans 8:37-39
God’s Word should become our declaration, our God-given entitlement.

God is our sufficiency, not this world, the government, or people.

Memorize and repeat often, especially when you are in difficult circumstances.

The horrors of war were part of their entire life from their birth. Every year, month, and day, they heard of the approaching of the fierce barbaric enemy that was coming closer and closer. The friendly forces diminished day by day until eventually they were unable to defend the capital city. The enemy climbed the mountain and scaled the walls and descended upon the defenseless city wounding, killing, stealing, burning, and destroying everything these 4 boys knew.

The horrifying realties of war assaulted their senses; they smelled the fire, saw the murdering, tasted the destruction, and felt the overwhelming pain of the loss.

In the days that followed, they watched as the conquerors took control, killing all that opposed them and organizing the exile of the few select to march out of their city, country, and life. They were dismayed and terrified when they were included into the ranks of those forced to leave.

Daniel 1:8-21
In all their austere adversity, they stayed faithful to Yahweh, and He blessed them in their negative circumstances.

Daniel 2:12, 13
Darkness and death were at their door.

17 and 18
They turned to God.

27 and 28
Daniel glorified Yahweh.

46-49
In their difficult world and life, God provided for them; yet, they still lived in Babylon.

No compromise

Romans 8:28
The context does not indicate we will have no adversity.

18-25
The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come, but the suffering is still here.

God is our sufficiency in difficult times.
