Genesis 41: 50-52 The name of Joseph’s second son was Ephraim, which means “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.” We have the tendency to determine who or what is the cause of our affliction, and indeed, there can be merit to this thinking; however, there also can be wrong conclusions and damage by such thinking. Joseph’s mindset was the best − looking for God’s help and blessing.

45:1-8
Every day, Joseph did the next right thing by keeping God first, and in the end, all things worked out for good. He could have easily felt sorry for himself and blamed God for his circumstances

50:15
Joseph maintained his godly attitude and saw things the right way. What the devil intends for evil, God can use for good if we are faithful and patient.

Psalms 25:1-ff
The waiting room at times can be more difficult than the treatment room.

Psalms 27:14; 37:24; 130:6
Waiting on God has everything to do with our understanding that He is in charge and we are not

Isaiah 30:18; 40:31

Lamentations 3:21-26
No matter how bad our current situation may be, God is still our portion and refuge.

Romans 8:18
We need to make these comparisons.

2 Corinthians 4:17 and 18
