Genesis 3:15 The woman is promised offspring who will ultimately destroy the Adversary and his works.

Genesis 21:12 God promised Abraham that the Messiah would be his offspring. Galatians 3:16

Deuteronomy 18:15 – 18 The Messiah would be a prophet like Moses. Moses was the mediator of the old covenant, and Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant. Both men received the revelation pertaining to their respective covenants.

Psalms 110:4; Hebrews 5:6 The Messiah would be a priest after the order of Melchizedek.

Genesis 49:10 Many years after Jacob spoke these words, the rulers of God’s people emerged from the tribe of Judah beginning with David.

Numbers 23:21 The shout of a king was Israel’s joyous expectation of a coming Messiah.

2Samuel 7:12,13, 16; 1Kings 8:25; Psalms 132:11; Jeremiah 33:17; Psalms 89:3 and 4 God promised David that He would establish David’s throne forever.

Micah 5:2 Micah revealed that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.

Isaiah 7:10-16 – Matthew 1:23 His name would be Immanuel.

Jeremiah 23:5 This righteous branch would be a descendant of David.

Jeremiah 33:14 and 15 The Messiah as a descendant of David will execute judgment as a king.

Zechariah 3:8 The branch will also be a servant.

Zechariah6:12 The branch will also be a man.

Isaiah 4:2 The branch will be the Son of Yahweh.

The four characteristics of the branch are he will be: 1) king, 2) servant, 3) man, and 4) Son of God.
