Genesis 12:1-5 – God specifically instructed Abram to go forth from his country, relatives, and father’s house; yet, he took Lot his nephew with him.

Genesis 13
Lot divided from Abram because the herdsmen had strived with each other. He ends up moving into Sodom.
Genesis 14 Lot was taken captive, and Abram rescued him.

Genesis 18:22-33
God would save the cities if there were righteous men there.

Genesis 19:16
The mercy of God was upon Lot. This is the first occurrence of mercy in the Scriptures.

Vs. 29
Because God remembered Abraham, He saved Lot.
